This policy explains how Zephyr AI Edu Ltd (“Zephyr”, “we”) collects and uses personal data through the zephyredu.ai marketing website, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Zephyr AI Edu Ltd is the data controller.
What we collect
The marketing site collects personal data in a small number of places:
- Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, organisation, role, country, the nature of your inquiry, and your message.
- Email correspondence. Any personal data you include when you email one of our channels (hello@, partnerships@, institutions@, operators@, labs@, invest@).
- Aggregated analytics. We use privacy-first, cookie-free analytics that collect anonymised, aggregated page-view data and do not identify or track individuals.
Lawful basis
- Responding to inquiries. Where you submit the contact form, our lawful basis is your consent, recorded via the consent checkbox at submission.
- Marketing updates. If you opt in to occasional updates, we rely on your separate, explicit consent. We never send marketing without it.
- Analytics. Our analytics collect no personal data and set no cookies, so no consent is required under UK GDPR and PECR.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, route it to the right person, and, where you have opted in, send occasional updates. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
Retention
Form submission logs held on our hosting infrastructure are retained for 90 days and then deleted. Records necessary to manage an ongoing relationship are kept in our email and customer-tracking systems for as long as the relationship is active and as required to meet our legal obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction or erasure of your data;
- object to or restrict our processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, including unsubscribing from marketing emails;
- complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
